Ante-natal Clinics

    These are held on Monday afternoons from 3.00-4.00pm and are arranged directly with your doctor.

Child Health Surveillance

    Dr Winter runs our programme for health surveillance for all our under fives. Regular developmental checks are carried out with the assistance of the Health Visitors. The clinic is held on Tuesday afternoons from 3.00-4.00pm.

Well Women Clinics

    Held every Tuesday afternoon from 3.00-4.00pm. Please take advantage of this clinic to ensure that you have had a cervical smear test in the last five years.

Family Planning

    A full range of contraceptive services are available - this includes fitting coils and caps as well as hormonal methods e.g. the pill, injections and implants. Family Planning is also available to residents who are not registered with the practice. Our nurse runs a separate clinic on Tuesday 3-4pm (no appointment necessary) and 4-5pm (by appointment).

Immunizations/ Vaccinations

    We aim to give all our children maximum protection against infectious diseases. Immunizations can be given at our regular clinics (every Thursday 8.30-10.30am). If this is difficult for you please arrange a more convenient time.

Holiday/ Routine Vaccinations

    Are your tetanus and polio vaccinations up to date? If not, make an appointment to see the nurse to have a booster dose. Holiday vaccinations are just as important- ask for details at reception.

Minor Surgery

    These clinics are held on Friday mornings by appointment. In these clinics minor lumps and bumps, skin tags, verrucas and warts may be removed. We can now also treat in growing toenails in the surgery. Please see your doctor for further details.

Health Promotion

    The practice firmly believes that good health can be maintained by adopting a healthy lifestyle. Advice and encouragement are available for all our patients.

Asthma/Diabetes

    The doctors have a special interest in these conditions. Please ask at reception.

Medical examinations (not covered by NHS)

    If you require PSV/HGV Licence or any other private medical examination,  ask at reception.

Please note that a charge is payable for services that are not covered by the NHS.
