Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by completing the right-hand section of your previous prescription form and either leaving it at the surgery or sending it to us by post (if you enclose a SAE we will return it to you by post). You can also order repeat prescriptions online using Systmonline.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Please note we will only give a repeat prescription to a representative of a patient where we are satisfied that the patient has given his or her consent for the representative to collect the prescription. Children under 16 may not collect repeat prescriptions.
You need to register to use our online repeat prescription ordering service and this is best done in person at the surgery. Please speak to one of our receptionists.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) Phase 4
We are upgrading to the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically from Monday 7 September, 2020. Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.
You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now. Read more about EPS on the NHS website.
