Overall we received great feedback and the findings also demonstrate how well we are performing in comparison with other surgeries in the city. We were particularly pleased to note that Healthwatch found the quality of care provided by GPs at The Avenue Surgery was better than the city average in all seven categories of care -especially in the categories of treating the patient with care and concern and allowing the patient to talk about more than one problem during a consultation.
The report also stated that patients at The Avenue Surgery were very positive in their overall evaluation of the surgery, giving it significantly higher ratings than other surgeries in Brighton and Hove.
We need hardly say that we are delighted with the Report’s findings and feel that it reflects the hard work and dedication of The Avenue Surgery team to looking after our patients.
